And I Thought We Had Slipped Under The Radar

Last night as Steven and I was preparing to go to bed Steven noticed that he had a voicemale from someone he didn't know. So he checked it and was our ward clerk trying to get a hold of us to set up a meeting with our Bishop. While we now both have callings, so much for me thinking we weren't going to be noticed in a huge ward with so many new people miving in each week they have to announce after scarment meeting for new families to come to the front and introduce themsleves to the bishopric. We are excited and really have enjoyed our new ward. Not that we didn't love our last ward we did, every sunday I miss knowing who everyone is, and I really miss our sunday school class. Those boys and Hilliary were awesome people and I am a better person for knowing them. Tonight while Steven was taking Zoey out he met some of our neighbors that live in the condo development next to ours, they also have dogs and they decided that it would be fun to get together and have a BBQ I can't wait, I really love it here and am thrilled to be getting to know the pep's around us...

Zoey in Color

We brought her numerous toys but she prefers a sock.

Just sitting there being sweet.

Standing up

Wrestling with her sock

Pictures of Zoey

She is soo small!
Yeah my eyes are closed these were the only picture that we took before the camera decided that the batteries were dead.

She doesn't understand that when we are taking pictures that she needs to hold still, when we dont have the camera out she hardley moves unless she is following us or we are trying to make her play!!!

Meet Zoey!!!!

I have wanted to get a dog since well forever!!! Yesterday I finally got what I have been well not so patiently waiting for. I was looking on KSL (something I do daily maybe hourly would be more accurate) at Jen's house and I saw the cutest puppies, their were a Shih Tzu Terrier mix, exactly what I was looking for!!! Something else was odd usually the puppies that I'm interested in are in Idaho, and I'm sorry I am not going to Idaho to look at a puppy and then decide that they aren't the one for us. The people that were selling Zoey lived 2 miles from Jen's home. So I called the number listed on the add and decided that I needed to go and see their pup's. In the pictures that they had posted I had my heart set on one that was tan and white, but when we got to their house and I saw Zoey and held her I knew she was our dog!!! I also felt that I had to save her!!! the people who were selling her well just say complete pot heads, she was really dirty and when we left to go and get them some cash she ran after me whining. It broke my heart!!! So she is six weeks old and a little chubby, but absolutely darling... It seriously took me all day to pick out her name, I originally had wanted a boy dog and was planning on naming him Nixon, but since that didn't happen Jen, Rand, Steven, I and even Brad were throwing out name ideas. Steven and Randy wanted me to name her Gurdie, Jen liked Roxy and Zoey, and Brad really wanted her to be named Lollie, I was having the hardest time I liked all of the names, but Zoey just felt the best match for a sweet cuddly personality. but she can be feisty. She is so adorable I love her sooo much and so does Steven, he even got up this morning and took her out to go potty. I am completely thrilled that we have her and that we saved her from some crazies.

I plan on taking pictures of our bedroom and our masterbath in the next couple of days. Sorry the pics are so random, I dont really like the formats that it makes you use, or maybe it is because I am under educated in tacts of posting picutes on my blog, who knows??? We really love our new home. I can't believe that it took me so long to hang my pictures up, but I'm so happy that I did, it makes it feel that more offical that this place is really our home!!! just so you know Jen Stevie's paintings are in the hall....
