Late Night

So last night seemed to be a fairly typical night, we had just eated dinner and Steven's best friend, Kasey had come over. We started playing Halo 3 Live. (On the internet) We have three controller but since our TV is well anything but large, so we took turns playing. Just so you know how much of a nerd I am like playing Halo, I even have dreams that I am playing. I havn't always had this much enthusiam about playing. I would play every once and a while, but was never any good. But since I got an xbox 360 for Steven for Christmas, I figured it would be fun if I played with him. So back to last night, We played back and forth form about 930-1200, but after that I was watching Steven and Kasey play and I fell asleep. I wasn't woken up until 330 am, when Steven took me to bed. The Boys had played Halo for 6 hours straight and I think they would have played longer but Steven knew we had to wake up in the morning. I guess New Years Eve we are goingto have another Halo night, it is supposed to last all night long. Anyway we had lots of fun, but I feel bad for our down stairs neighbors, because as much as I would like to think otherwise I know that we are noisey.

Today I decided that should upload a more recent picture to put on "the blog". I also thought that I should add some background info on my Stevie. He was born in Kearns UT, and grew up in Midvale. (Jenny you can correct me at any time if my information in incorrect.) He is the youngest of five kids. He HATES it when people ask him if his hair is dyed, usually he doesn't say anything but sometimes he tells people that he does, and he dyes his eyebrows and body hair too. He is crazy in a fabulous way, he is always moving and going and full of energy, which helps my life anything but boring. He grew up shooting, hunting, four wheeling, skateboarding, bmxing, singing, camping, building bombs, (He always had plenty of powder because his Dad reloads his ammo.) and whatever else he thought of. He has a great family, I love them!! He graduated from Hill Crest High School. After which he served a LDS misson in Peoria Illinois. We met the day after he got home. My husband is wonderful, I love him more than anything else.

Our History

My name is Kariann Reimann, I was born in Cedar City Ut, and raised in Parowan Ut. I am the youngest of seven children. I moved up to SLC in fall of 2005, to work at Huntsman Cancer Hospital. Some of my married friends let me move in with them, because they are awesome and love me. Soon after I moved in they found out that they were expecting their first child, so when Joni was about 8 months along I moved out into my own place, so that they would have more room for the baby. I moved into the Grant Street Apartments, to be close to some friends. I didn't know this at the time but this move landed me into my now husbands ward. But contrary to popular belief we didn't met at church. We had met a couple weeks prior at a Bee's Baseball game. (funny thing is neither of us like baseball) The second that I looked back to see him walking down the stairs I knew that we would get married. I know that sounds strange but I just knew. We had some other encounters before I moved into his ward. We ran into each other at the movies, Steven and his brothers we walking out of the theatre while I was walking in, I was so shocked to see him there I forgot his name. He walked up to me and started talking to me, i was embrassed that I was there alone so I just said that I had to go. Later when he found out he was mad that I hadn't told him I was alone, because he would've have taken me out.

The rest is just history we started dating soon after I moved into the ward. He proposed at the Italy casino in Las Vegas over dinner. But he just asked me to pray about, I told him that I already had and YES I wanted to marry him! We dropped it after that, and just had fun in Vegas for the weekend. (Steven was working in Vegas at the time and his company would fly him home on weekends) So the next Friday after his flight came in we went back to my apartment to talk. I asked him when he wanted to get married, I didn't know if he wanted to wait for awhile or if he wanted to get married right away. So the next morning we went ring shopping and brought the ring.

We got married December 7th 2006 in the Bountiful Temple. It was a beautiful day, The best of my life. The only thing that I would change about that day would be that my Dad could have been there. He was serving our Country in Afghanistan, and wasn't allowed to come home. But the morning of the wedding I was able to talk to my dad on the phone, he wished me the best of luck, and told me that he knew that I was making a wise choice and to not fell guilty. We had a dinner after the wedding, we had mostly family at the wedding, neither of us wanted a big wedding.

So in the last year we have both changed jobs, Steven is working at Quality Tire, and I am working at the U of U hospital in the OR. We have moved into a bigger Apartment, which we really enjoy the extra space. I went back to school to get a degree in nursing. We bought to Honda Scooters this summer and we love them!!! We can't wait for it to get warmer so we can ride them again. We are a fairly typical newlywed couple, we work a lot, and have to fight in order to spend some time with one another.
